A selection of my photographs of Electras


Zantop International Airlines based at Detroit-Willow Run had 18 Electra freighters in service in 1981 alongside a large
fleet of Convairs, DC-6s and DC-8s.  N5504 was photogaphed at Zantop's southern hub Macon, Georgia in October 1981.

Evergreen International Airlines is remembered for its CIA clandestine operations, but in the 1980salso operated a network
of night freight services for Emery Air Freight. Electra N5534 at Evergreen home base Marana, Arizona in November 1981.

N9744C at Anchorage, Alaska in September 1981 when Reeve Aleutian Airways was opetratig three Electras configured
for joint passengers and freight on their services along the Aleutian Islands chain
